Make a meaningful difference by supporting students across a dynamic range of age groups in a contract paraprofessional assignment. This position is tailored for dedicated paraprofessionals who thrive in school environments, particularly those passionate about working with pre-K through 12th-grade learners. The role involves engaging with students across private schools, with responsibilities that adjust depending on the age group and specific needs.
Assignment Details:
Contract duration: Immediate start through June 10, 2027 Monday through Friday schedule, 37.5 hours per week Work with a variable caseload, supporting students from early childhood to high school
Key Qualifications:
Experience working as a paraprofessional in educational settings Proven ability to support children with mild to moderate behavioral needs in classroom environments Comfortable providing toileting and hygiene support to small children when required Background in working with diverse student populations Adaptable, compassionate, and committed to fostering a positive educational setting
Core Responsibilities:
Assist teachers and staff in daily classroom activities across different grade levels Provide individual and small group support to students, as directed Support implementation of behavior intervention plans and individualized educational strategies Contribute to creating a structured, inclusive, and supportive learning environment Communicate effectively with classroom teachers and school staff regarding student progress and needs This contract offers the opportunity to impact students' academic and personal growth while working alongside committed educators.
