Job Description

Job Summary :
Lead, manage and coordinate activities of the Emergency Department operations and staff for assigned shift. Participates in the coordination of patient care and departmental activities consistent with the corporate, division, and departmental mission statement and values.
Qualifications :
Current RN license to practice in NC (NC license or multi-state (compact) license). BSN within 2 years of start date. Two years progressive nursing experience in an acute hospital with demonstrated leadership skills. Thorough knowledge of emergency nursing principles, methods and techniques. Able to deal tactfully with staff, patients, physicians, ancillary professionals, and families.
Current certification in:
BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, with CEN preferred. Significant ability to manage coach and motivate staff. EOE AA M/F/Vet/Disability
