Job Summary Join our dedicated team as a Community Living & Supports Professional (CLS), where you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and other disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives. Responsibilities Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, grooming, meal preparation, and medication administration when required. Support behavioral health needs by implementing behavior management strategies and tracking progress through data collection. Facilitate communication using various methods, including American Sign Language if applicable, to ensure effective understanding and expression. Provide direct support during community outings, transportation, and home visits to promote independence and social integration. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized support plans. Document daily activities, behavioral observations, and progress notes accurately to ensure consistency in care. Assist with childcare responsibilities when working with families or individuals requiring developmental support. Requirements Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or behavioral health needs is highly preferred. Knowledge of special education principles and behavior management techniques. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals of diverse abilities and backgrounds. Valid driver's license and ability to drive safely for community outings or transportation purposes. Experience in home & community care settings or caregiving roles is advantageous. Ability to assist with ADLs and provide compassionate support in a variety of settings. Familiarity with data collection methods related to behavioral health or social work practices.
