Job Overview:

The Health Assistant supports the health, safety, and well-being of students and staff by providing health services within the school setting. The position assists with the assessment and care of student health needs, administration of medications and treatments, maintenance of health records, response to illness and injury, implementation of student health plans, and communication with parents/guardians and school personnel. The Health Assistant works collaboratively with administrators, staff, families, healthcare providers, and other appropriate professionals to help ensure that students' health needs are appropriately addressed and that students are able to participate safely and successfully in the educational environment. $15.76 - $19.20 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
