Responsibilities Assist in the implementation of treatment plans and therapeutic activities for patients. Monitor patient behavior and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team. Provide crisis intervention as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of all patients. Collect and maintain accurate data regarding patient progress and behaviors. Engage with patients in meaningful activities that promote mental wellness. Document medical information and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support individuals with autism and other behavioral health challenges through applied behavior analysis techniques. Collaborate with special education staff when working with children experiencing mental health issues. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to PTSD care and other relevant areas. Skills Proficient in crisis intervention techniques and strategies. Strong data collection skills for accurate documentation of patient progress. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles, particularly in working with individuals on the autism spectrum. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and safety. Experience in providing care for individuals with PTSD, including understanding their unique needs. Ability to document medical information clearly and accurately. Background in special education or experience working with children is highly desirable. Understanding of behavioral health principles and practices.
