Job Description

New Hope Manor is looking to hire an Peer Support Specialist to join our dedicated team at our Re-Integration Women's Program! This position does require overnight shifts. Peer Support Specialists add a unique recovery perspective that clinical staff alone cannot provide, helping residents feel understood, engaged, and connected to long-term recovery supports. A certification, such as CRPA or NYCPS, is required. As a member of our clinical team, the Peer Support staff provide support and guidance to the patients in our program. This overnight shift is an awake position in a house of 10 women, located in Poughkeepsie, NY. Candidates must have at least one year of experience in the Human Services field. Shift Schedule (Part-Time):
Thursday and Friday Overnights:
9:00PM - 7:00AM; Saturday Evenings 4:00PM - 9:00PM Responsibilities include: Having a presence in the community to be available for clients Crisis management Assisting clients with following the house and weekend schedule Being available to answer questions Communicating with other staff New Hope Manor is a tobacco-free/vape free facility. You must pass a drug test to be eligible for employment. Background checks are required by the agency. New Hope Manor, licensed by the NYS OASAS, offers all-female, residential substance use disorder treatment. We accept all women ages 13 and up, prioritizing those who are pregnant, and including those who would like to have their children (under 3) live with them while they are in treatment.
