Group Home Worker Together for Youth - 3.1 Rochester, NY Job Details Full-time $20.00 - $21.08 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Microsoft Office High school diploma or GED Driver's License Full Job Description As a Group Home Worker, you will be responsible for creating a therapeutic and nurturing home environment for youth in a group home setting. The goal of the position is to maintain a safe, secure atmosphere conducive to the youth's positive growth and change. This includes teaching daily and independent living skills, mentoring and promoting community integration. Job Requirements Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED; Associates Degree in Human Services preferred Minimum 1 year of experience working with at risk youth preferred TCI, First Aid/CPR certification required or ability to obtain and maintain certification Flexible availability required including night and weekend hours Must have a current and valid driver's license with acceptable driving history to the Agency MS Office skills required Pay $20 per hour; $ 2 shift differential (overnights) weekly pay Schedule evening and overnight shifts as needed Equal Opportunity Employer Together for Youth is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, creed, color, national origin, sexual orientation, military status, sex, pregnancy, gender identity or expression, disability, marital status, or any other basis covered by appropriate law.
