We offer housing options for adult clients needing fully staffed, safe housing and supportive services and are currently in need of a Residential Specialist. The goal of these facilities is to increase mental health stability while decreasing homelessness and hospitalization due to lack of resources. This is an entry level position as a Qualified Mental Health Specialist. Job responsibilities include working with clients on living independently from cleaning, cooking, managing the laundry schedule, engaging clients in social activities, self-care, and more. This position supports residents during outings in which they may be driving the group. Residential Specialists ensure a clean and safe environment by ensuring procedures are followed. Residential Specialists make a difference in the client's life by working with them to teach life skills.
Requirements:
- Prior experience working or supporting someone with a mental health diagnosis is preferred.
- A high school diploma/GED is required.
- A valid driver license and clean driving record for transportation duties is preferred.
- Writing and computer skills as this will be used to enter client notes into the Electronic Medical Records system.
- Weekend availability is required.
