Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Floating Aide to join our special needs educational team(preschool - adult age). This vital role involves providing support across various special needs classrooms in Auglaize County(Minster, New Bremen, St. Marys, Wapakoneta, and Waynesfield-Goshen). Duties Support students with disabilities in classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, playgrounds, and community-based instruction settings. Assist in implementation of individualized Education Program, accommodations, and modifications under the direction of the teacher Provide academic, behavioral and social support to students during individual, small group, and whole-class activities. Facilitate student participation in community-based learning, vocational training, and transition activities as assigned. Promote independence by encouraging students to complete tasks and use problem-solving strategies. Support positive behavior strategies and reinforce appropriate social skills. Collaborate with teachers, intervention specialists, therapists, and other team members to meet students needs. Supervise students to ensure safety during school and community activities. Perform personal care or mobility assistance when necessary and in accordance with training and district guidelines.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent (required). Obtain a clear

BCI & FBI

fingerprints ($70). Obtain an aide license through the Ohio Department of Education ($25)

Pay:

From $16.98 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 per week
