Part-Time Direct Support Professional Garnet Valley, PA | $36.00/Hour + Mileage Reimbursement Are you looking for work that truly matters? This position takes place primarily in the family home, where you will work alongside a caring family who values teamwork, communication, and the people who support their son. We are looking for someone who is patient, reliable, and genuinely enjoys helping others reach their goals.
Schedule Part-Time Hours Monday, Wednesday, and Friday:
3:00 PM - 8:00 PM Additional hours may be available on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM Pay & Benefits $36.00 per hour Mileage reimbursement Consistent schedule Supportive family and team environment Meaningful work where you can see the impact you make every day What You'll Be Doing Every day is a little different, but your role may include: Assisting with personal care needs such as dressing, showering, meals, and daily routines. Spending quality time together at home and in the community. Supporting participation in recreational activities, volunteer opportunities, and outings. Helping create a structured, positive, and successful day. Encouraging independence while providing guidance and support when needed. Following established support strategies and behavior plans to help ensure safety and success. The Right Person Will Be Kind, patient, and dependable. Calm and positive, even during challenging situations. Comfortable providing personal care assistance. A team player who communicates well with family members and other staff. Engaged and present while working. Someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships and celebrating small successes. Experience Preferred Behavioral support experience. Experience supporting individuals with seizure disorders. Knowledge of Positive Behavior Support Plans. Qualifications One of the following is required: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, Gerontology, Human Services, or a related field
