The right candidate should be comfortable following a claim through the billing cycle, identifying why a claim has not been paid, completing appropriate follow-up, and communicating when documentation, authorization, or other issues are preventing successful billing. The ideal candidate is organized, persistent, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of assigned billing responsibilities.
