Community-Based Position Pay:

$30.00-$33.00 per hour Position Overview Bee Mindful Behavioral Health Clinic PLLC is currently hiring a dependable, motivated, and compassionate Qualified Mental Health Professional-Community Services (QMHP-CS) to join our growing behavioral health team in El Paso, Texas. This is a full-time hybrid position for a professional who is comfortable providing services in multiple settings, including the clinic, community, client homes when appropriate, and through telehealth. The QMHP-CS will work directly with children, adolescents, adults, and families who need behavioral health support, skills development, psychosocial rehabilitation, care coordination, and assistance accessing community resources. We are seeking someone who can work independently in the community while remaining an active and accountable member of our clinical team. Essential Job Duties Provide community-based behavioral health and rehabilitative services according to each client's individualized treatment plan. Complete behavioral health screenings, assessments, and other required clinical documentation. Assist in developing individualized service plans with specific, measurable, recovery-oriented goals. Provide psychosocial rehabilitation, skills training, symptom-management education, and other supportive behavioral health interventions. Help clients develop practical skills related to independent functioning, communication, coping, problem-solving, emotional regulation, and community integration. Provide age-appropriate behavioral health support to children, adolescents, adults, older adults, and families. Recognize changes in a client's behavioral health status and appropriately communicate concerns to the clinical treatment team. Utilize appropriate de-escalation and crisis-intervention techniques when behavioral health concerns arise. Coordinate services with psychiatric providers, therapists, physicians, schools, families, community organizations, and other members of the client's treatment team. Identify appropriate community resources and assist clients with accessing services related to housing, transportation, education, employment, healthcare, and other psychosocial needs. Monitor client progress toward treatment goals and communicate significant barriers or changes to the treatment team. Provide services in the office, community, and through approved telehealth platforms according to client needs and program requirements. Complete accurate, thorough, and timely electronic documentation for all services provided. Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, organizational policies, and applicable behavioral health documentation requirements. Participate in treatment planning, case consultation, staff meetings, training, and quality-improvement activities. Maintain required certifications, training, and continuing education applicable to the position. Required Qualifications Applicants must meet the qualifications necessary to perform services as a QMHP-CS and have experience working within behavioral health, community mental health, case management, psychosocial rehabilitation, or a related setting. Current CANS and ANSA certifications are required. Candidates should also have current training/certification, as applicable to the services they will provide, in the following: Illness Management and Recovery (IMR) Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) START Preparation for Adult Living (PAL/PAYA, as applicable) Seeking Safety Nurturing Parenting Wraparound Barkley's Defiant Children/Defiant Child program or related training Additional Qualifications Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of community mental health services, case management, rehabilitation, crisis intervention, behavioral stabilization, and community resource coordination. Strong written documentation and verbal communication skills are essential. Applicants must be able to organize their schedules, manage a community-based caseload, meet documentation deadlines, protect confidential information, and communicate professionally with clients, families, providers, and team members. Knowledge or experience with evidence-based and recovery-oriented approaches, including Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) principles, skills training, and person-centered interventions, is strongly preferred. Experience providing telehealth services is beneficial but not required.
