Role:
Adjust Mental Health LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Medical Assistant to join our growing team in Fishers, IN. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients navigating mental health challenges while working alongside a supportive clinical team.
Responsibilities:
Assist mental health providers with patient intake, rooming, and clinical documentation Record and update patient medical histories, vital signs, and behavioral health information Support care coordination and communicate effectively with patients and families Manage scheduling, referrals, and prior authorizations for psychiatric services Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA regulations Provide a calm, welcoming environment for patients experiencing mental health concerns
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) preferred Prior experience in a medical, behavioral health, or psychiatric setting is a plus Familiarity with EHR systems and medical office workflows Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-centered, empathetic approach Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive mental health information with discretion Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced clinical environment CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
