Position Summary We are seeking an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) to join our clinical team. In this role, you'll provide outpatient counseling services, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with our team to support clients in achieving their mental health goals. You'll also have opportunities to work with children ages 3+, participate in groups, and receive clinical supervision as you grow your skills and caseload. What We Offer Paid clinical supervision Paid administrative time (notes, meetings, trainings) Company-provided laptop and professional phone number Paid Time Off and Sick Leave Psychology Today profile and marketing tools provided Staff lunches for development and celebrations Opportunities to facilitate and design groups (social skills, process groups, etc.) Dedicated play therapy room for work with children Flexible hours and remote work options available Support in developing your clinical niche Supportive and relaxed team environment Ideal Candidate Enjoys working with children as young as 3 years old and teens, using creativity and play in therapy Has experience with children, teens, young adults, and parents, and can empathize with each group's challenges Motivated to grow caseload to 20+ weekly billable sessions within 4-6 months Values teamwork and peer collaboration Open to participating in community events to promote the practice and their role Interested in developing and facilitating groups (e.g., social skills, process groups) for various populations Key Responsibilities Provide individual, family, or group therapy to clients within scope of training and license Build strong therapeutic rapport and maintain professional boundaries Complete intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and document all clinical interactions within 24 hours Respond to client crises and ensure safety protocols are followed Collaborate with other healthcare providers and community supports Maintain Continuing Education and licensure requirements Attend staff meetings, trainings, and clinical consultations Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace Adhere to all practice policies and ethical guidelines Skills and Qualifications Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work Active Associate registration in California (AMFT, APCC, ASW) required Strong clinical judgment and ethical standards Experience with EHR systems and Google Workspace Excellent written and verbal communication Compassionate, self-motivated, and organized Must be available for at least 3 evenings per week Weekend availability is optional, not required Work Location & Schedule In-person and hybrid options available Office located in Tustin, California Flexible schedule as caseload builds Part-time with potential for full-time as caseload increases
