The therapist will provide evidence-based psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults through telehealth and, where available, in-person services. We welcome independently licensed therapists and associate-level clinicians licensed in Texas, Arizona, Maryland, or North Carolina. Applicants only need to be licensed in one of these states. Multistate licensure is preferred but not required. Responsibilities Conduct clinical assessments and identify patients' treatment needs Develop individualized, measurable treatment plans Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy, as applicable Use evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, supportive therapy, and trauma-informed care Treat conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, grief, adjustment difficulties, and relationship concerns Assess safety concerns and complete appropriate safety planning and referrals Coordinate care with psychiatric providers and other members of the treatment team Complete progress notes, treatment plans, and other clinical documentation accurately and on time Maintain patient privacy and comply with HIPAA, professional ethics, and applicable state regulations Qualifications Active mental-health license in Texas, Arizona, Maryland, or North Carolina LPC Associate, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT Associate, or LMFT applicants are welcome Associate-level applicants must have their own qualified, state-approved supervisor and maintain an active supervisory agreement Master's degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related clinical field Experience providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, or adults Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with the clinical team Strong clinical documentation and time-management skills Professional liability insurance Reliable computer, private workspace, and secure internet connection for telehealth services Preferred Qualifications Experience treating children or adolescents Experience with trauma-informed care, ADHD, anxiety, depression, or family therapy Availability during evenings or weekends Licensed in more than one state Why Join Effulgence Psychiatry?
