As a Behaviour Support Mentor , you will: ✅ Support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) ✅ Provide 1:1 and small group interventions ✅ Help students regulate emotions and develop positive behaviours ✅ Build confidence, resilience, and engagement with learning ✅ Work closely with teaching staff to support pupil progress There may also be opportunities to support or cover pre-planned lessons during staff absence, ideal for those looking to progress into teaching, take on more responsibility or even boost confidence. This offers valuable experience in classroom management, behaviour support, and leading learning, helping to build confidence and develop key leadership skills. This is more than just a job . It's an opportunity to become a positive role model for young people, helping them build confidence, overcome challenges, and achieve success both inside and outside the classroom. ⭐ Desired Experience We welcome applicants with experience in: Behaviour support, mentoring, coaching, or youth work SEN, SEMH, ALN, or additional support needs PRUs, alternative provisions, secure units, or specialist settings Education, care, mental health, or criminal justice settings Teaching Assistant, Classroom Support, or Cover Supervisor roles ✅ Educator Requirements If you don't have these yet—don't worry!
