QMHP-A works to preserve the individual's independence and maintenance of healthy daily living by assisting with community linkages, role definition, and communication skills training QMHP-A, under the supervision of the Clinical Supervision, will provide training and direct skill-building, to enhance the client's activities of daily living and to assist with managing the client's mental health illness at home, in the community and work place. QMHP-A assists with medication management and monitors the overall health, nutrition and physical condition of the client QMHP-A monitors the client's behavior and documents their progress according to existing standards and policies while ensuring the protection of client confidentiality QMHP-A participates in face-to-face clinical supervision with the LMHP on a bi-weekly basis. QMHP-A will have other duties as assigned Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs): Good knowledge of non-violent crisis intervention Demonstrated skill in working with adults with mental illness. Very good oral and written communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and staff.

Licensure:

Valid state driver's license Clean driving record Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training certification (within 30 days of employment) Standard First aid Training certification (within 30 days of employment) Training in non-violent crisis intervention (minimum 8 hours)

Background Screening:

This position requires the incumbent to sign the necessary consent forms to allow Central Registry/CPS and criminal background checks to be conducted.
