We are looking for people with a passion for supporting individuals that experience developmental disabilities in a state of crisis.

Workspaces include:

the person's home, workplace, or the Responsive Solutions' Safe House. Responders implement and monitor behavioral supports conducive to the individual's health and safety. Responders assist with personal care, care of personal property, and other activities of daily living. This opportunity if for full and part-time positions. Responder Duties Involve:

• Providing highest quality direct support in all settings (home, work, community, and The Safe House)
• Implementing behavioral support plans, and reporting on outcomes of implementation
• Learning use of home modifications to create secure environments

Job Requirements:

• High motivation to work with dynamic individuals in crisis and their support teams
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Some experience in complex supportive home care and/or education in related fields (Preferred) . Driver's Lisence and Reliable Vehicle for tranporting people supported
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods
• Ability to regularly lift 40lbs
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with varying hours (Primary 2nd and 3rd shifts)

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.50 per hour Expected hours: 18.0 - 40.0 per week
