Full Job Description Position Summary:

The TMS Technician will support our mental health professionals and patients at Alaska Treatment Center during the TMS treatment. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, reliable, and willing to undergo training in operating the TMS and in performing office work as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

Operate TMS equipment following prescribed protocols and safety standards set by the clinician. Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the procedure. Explain TMS procedures and their possible effects on patients, as well as answer patient queries. Maintain accurate records of each session, including treatment notes and equipment logs. Assisting patients to complete psychiatric rating scales after sessions. Follow all clinical guidelines and report any equipment malfunctions or patient concerns to the supervising clinician. Be willing to participate in training for additional office duties such as answering phones, handling paperwork, and patient intake.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field from an accredited institution. Proven experience working with patients managing various mental health disorders. Proficiency in electronic health record-keeping systems, such as ICANotes. Willingness to learn and administer TMS treatments while assuming high-level responsibilities. Ability to collaborate effectively with mental health professionals and work under supervision. Skilled in documenting session notes and assisting patients in completing psychiatric rating scales. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide and reassure patients.
