At Beacon, we specialize in inpatient psychiatric care for children and adolescents ages 6 to 17. Mental Health Technician:
Build therapeutic relationships by providing daily support and supervision to patients Monitor and document behavior, conduct regular safety checks, and ensure a structured, supportive environment Take vital signs, assist with admissions/discharges, and escort patients as needed Help teach life skills and reinforce treatment goals Play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healing atmosphere
What We're Looking For:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA or college coursework in psychology, social work, or a related field
Other Requirements:
CPR and Handle With Care certification required within 30 days of hire #INDLUV
