This position will facilitate behavioral health classes and assist with the daily administrative operations of the program. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and mental health challenges. Must have extensive knowledge and experience with TherapyNotes EMR. Responsibilities Facilitate engaging behavioral health classes for individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and mental health conditions. Coordinate class schedules, attendance, documentation, and participant progress. Maintain accurate client records, progress notes, and behavioral documentation in TherapyNotes EMR . Conduct client intakes and assist with developing individualized treatment and behavior plans. Collect and document behavioral data and monitor client progress. Utilize appropriate de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques when necessary. Assist with client safety, medication administration, vital signs, first aid, and other applicable care procedures within the scope of training and authorization. Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and all applicable confidentiality requirements. Collaborate with clinicians, social workers, counselors, special education professionals, and other members of the treatment team. Assist with administrative duties necessary for the efficient operation of the program. Qualifications & Skills Experience working with children, adolescents, or adults with developmental disabilities, autism, behavioral challenges, or mental health conditions. Strong understanding of behavioral health, behavior management, crisis intervention, and de-escalation techniques. Knowledge and experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and behavioral intervention strategies. Extensive knowledge of TherapyNotes EMR is required. Experience with electronic medical records, clinical documentation, HIPAA compliance, and data collection. Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills. Ability to conduct client intakes and maintain accurate records. Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred. Experience with medication administration and vital-sign monitoring preferred, where permitted by applicable training and regulations. Peer Support Certification preferred. Experience working with youth and individuals with developmental or behavioral challenges is highly valued.
