In this vital role, you will provide compassionate support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions. Duties Engage with clients using motivational interviewing techniques to promote recovery and behavioral change Provide peer support advocacy(Must Have a Peer Support Certification) by sharing personal recovery experiences and mentoring individuals through their mental health journeys Assist clients in developing coping strategies, harm reduction plans, and relapse prevention techniques Conduct crisis management and intervention when clients exhibit signs of distress or risk, ensuring safety and appropriate follow-up Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions using

) while respecting confidentiality protocols Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans tailored to each individual's needs, including those with substance use disorders or co-occurring conditions Support clients in culturally sensitive ways, working effectively with diverse communities to foster trust and engagement Requirements Proven experience in behavioral health, mental health wellness groups Strong crisis management and crisis intervention skills with the ability to respond calmly under pressure Knowledge of harm reduction strategies, motivational interviewing, and recovery peer support principles Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing mental health conditions and substance use disorders Experience working with culturally diverse populations and understanding the importance of cultural competence in care delivery Excellent client communication skills with an emphasis on empathy, active listening, and confidentiality maintenance Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for documentation purposes Personal experience with recovery from mental health or substance use challenges is highly valued as part of peer support advocacy Join us in creating a supportive environment where hope and healing thrive!
