In this vital role, you will support individuals with diverse mental health needs, including those with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, substance use disorders, and trauma-related conditions such as PTSD. Duties Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans for clients with mental health and behavioral challenges Monitor and record vital signs, medication administration, and patient responses using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support clients during intake assessments, behavioral interventions, and de-escalation techniques to ensure safety and emotional stability Conduct data collection on client behaviors, progress notes, and medical documentation to support ongoing care and treatment adjustments Apply behavior intervention strategies such as applied behavior analysis (ABA) to promote positive behaviors and skill development Provide client communication support by engaging with individuals across age groups, including youth with neurodevelopmental disorders or disabilities Respond promptly to crises using crisis management and crisis intervention skills, including first aid and CPR when necessary Requirements Prior experience working with adolescents in behavioral health, special education, or social work settings is highly desirable Must pass a life scan Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration procedures, and medical records management within EMR/EHR systems Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times Ability to perform vital signs measurement accurately and respond effectively during crises using de-escalation techniques Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration in a fast-paced environment Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ongoing training in crisis management is a plus Join us to empower individuals on their journey toward mental wellness!
