In this role, you will provide essential mental health and behavioral care to clients, supporting their recovery journey through effective communication, crisis intervention, and behavior management. The RADT plays a vital part in fostering a safe and supportive environment for individuals dealing with substance use disorders, ensuring their well-being through professional and empathetic care. Responsibilities Deliver mental health and behavioral support tailored to individual client needs. Communicate effectively with clients to build trust and promote engagement in treatment plans. Respond promptly to crisis situations, utilizing de-escalation techniques to maintain safety for clients and staff. Assist clients with substance use disorder recovery efforts through behavior intervention strategies. Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information in accordance with privacy regulations. Apply first aid and CPR when necessary to address medical emergencies. Support clients in developing coping skills and managing behavioral challenges in a therapeutic setting. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery. Qualifications Valid registration as a RADT or equivalent certification required. Experience working with individuals experiencing substance use disorders is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of mental health and behavioral care principles. Proficiency in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards. Certification in first aid and CPR is required or obtainable upon hire. Compassionate attitude with a commitment to supporting clients' recovery process.
