Job Description

BestNest Management is currently seeking Licensed Psychiatric Technicians (LPT) to work a 6 month contract at a Correctional Facility in Tehachapi, CA; possibility of extension or offer of permanent employment. For more information please contact healthcare recruiter Melissa 562-270-9796.

Responsibilities for
LPT:
Give a basic level of general behavioral and psychiatric nursing care Conduct daily clinical rounds and monitoring of patient /youth with signs and symptoms of mental illness Administer medications and treatments, including hypodermic injections, take and chart temperature, pulse, blood pressure and respiration, etc Development of treatment plans and objectives from assessments Requirements for
LPT:
1 year experience as an LPT LPT License in the State of California BLS From (American Heart Association)
