Full-Time | 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM About Connections Mental Health Connections Mental Health is dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centered care in a safe and supportive environment. We are seeking a reliable and motivated Mental Health Technician to join our team and help support clients throughout their treatment journey. Position Overview As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining a structured, therapeutic environment while ensuring client safety and well-being. Responsibilities include client intakes, medication observation, documentation, monitoring clients, and supporting daily operations within the facility. Essential Responsibilities Complete client intakes and maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) Assist with medication passes as directed Conduct routine client rounds and observations Monitor client behavior and ensure compliance with facility rules and expectations Maintain accurate and timely charting Assist with organizing client files and administrative documentation Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment Communicate effectively with supervisors and treatment team members Respond appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations Follow all company policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required CPR and First Aid Certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire) Experience in behavioral health, mental health, addiction treatment, healthcare, or related field preferred Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities HealthSafety Requirements TB test completed within one year prior to hire or within seven (7) days of employment; annual testing thereafter Pre-employment health screening required Must successfully complete a Livescan/background check in accordance with California law Why Join Connections Mental Health?
