Full-Time Hyperbaric Chamber Technician Wound Healing Institute Northwest Florida Community Hospital - Chipley, Florida Northwest Florida Community Hospital is seeking a dependable and compassionate Full-Time Hyperbaric Chamber Technician to join our Wound Healing Institute. This position plays an important role in providing safe, high-quality hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients while working closely with physicians, nurses, and other members of the wound care team. Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for hyperbaric oxygen therapy and explain treatment procedures.
• Safely operate and monitor hyperbaric chamber equipment during treatments.
• Monitor patients throughout treatment and promptly report any concerns or changes in condition.
• Perform required pre-treatment and post-treatment safety checks.
• Follow all hyperbaric safety procedures, infection-control practices, and hospital policies.
• Maintain accurate treatment documentation and patient records.
• Assist with cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining hyperbaric equipment and treatment areas.
• Maintain emergency preparedness and respond appropriately to patient or equipment-related concerns.
• Assist the Wound Healing Institute team with patient care and departmental needs as assigned.
• Provide compassionate, professional service to patients and their families. Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous healthcare, emergency medical, respiratory therapy, military medical, or hyperbaric experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within the required timeframe.
• Hyperbaric certification, such as Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT), preferred; willingness to obtain required certification following hire may be considered.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to follow detailed clinical procedures.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, and assisting with patient positioning and transfers.

Full-Time, Day Shift, Monday - Friday Pay
