- Assist PT/PT Assistant with therapeutic exercise and other treatment as appropriated by therapists.
- Monitor patient response and discusses with therapist/assistant as necessary
- Confer with physical therapy staff and others to discuss and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying and coordinating treatment
- Utilize treatment modalities: Prepare treatment room for patient Change, wash, and fold linens used during exams and treatments Welcome, comfort, motivate, safeguard and, essentially, assist patients Address patient questions and requests Help patients with exercise equipment Clean work and treatment areas Sterilize and position equipment where needed Monitor supply levels Handle phone calls, and check patients in/out Adhere to professional standards, company policies and procedures, and legal standards, including HIPPA Technician's Qualifications High school diploma Effective communications skills Healthcare experience preferred but not necessary Interest in physical therapy Ability to work in a team Ability to effectively assist patients from various backgrounds Clerical skills
