$19-$21 per hour, depending on experience Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented TMS Technician to support patients receiving Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy for depression and related mental health conditions. The TMS Technician will administer treatments under the supervision of a licensed physician or qualified clinical provider, monitor patient comfort and safety, accurately document each session, and help create a welcoming, supportive patient experience. Responsibilities Administer scheduled TMS treatments according to physician orders, established treatment protocols, and safety standards. Prepare, position, and operate TMS equipment under appropriate clinical supervision. Verify patient identity, treatment parameters, and contraindication/safety screening before each session. Monitor patients throughout treatment for comfort, adverse effects, or changes in condition. Promptly communicate patient concerns, treatment responses, and any potential side effects to the supervising provider. Accurately document treatment settings, session details, patient feedback, and clinical observations in the electronic health record. Educate patients on the treatment process, appointment expectations, and basic post-treatment instructions within scope of practice. Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, supplies, and infection-control standards. Protect patient privacy and maintain strict HIPAA compliance. Build positive, professional relationships with patients, providers, and team members. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; experience in healthcare, psychology, neuroscience, or a related field preferred. Prior experience in a medical office, behavioral health, psychiatry, neurology, or patient-care setting preferred. Experience with TMS therapy is preferred but not required; training may be provided. Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a calm bedside manner. Excellent attention to detail and ability to consistently follow clinical protocols. Comfortable using medical equipment and electronic health record systems. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a mental health setting. CPR/BLS certification.
