Job Overview As a Mental Health Technician on the Behavioral Health Unit, you'll support nurses and clinical staff in caring for adults experiencing acute emotional, behavioral, or psychiatric difficulties. You'll assist with daily care, safety monitoring, therapeutic interactions, and documentation to ensure patients receive safe, high‑quality, patient‑centered care. With a small, skilled team and strong multidisciplinary collaboration, the unit provides focused, patient‑centered care in a calm, structured environment ideal for building therapeutic and behavioral health skills. Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred Associate's degree in psychology or related field preferred Previous experience in healthcare or psychiatric settings preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) within six months of hire
