Job Overview:
Juniper Tree Recovery is a rapidly growing, faith-based addiction and behavioral health treatment organization dedicated to providing exceptional care to individuals seeking lasting recovery. As we continue expanding our residential, outpatient, and mental health services, we are seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to join our team. If you have a heart for serving others and want to make a meaningful difference every day, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities Provide direct supervision and support to clients in residential and outpatient settings. Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment. Monitor client behavior and report significant observations to clinical staff. Conduct and document client rounds. Assist with admissions, discharges, and client orientation. Facilitate transportation of clients when assigned. Assist with drug screening procedures. Encourage client participation in treatment activities and recovery programming. Complete accurate and timely documentation. Respond appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, healthcare, corrections, social services, or related field preferred. CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to pass required background screening and drug testing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Qualifications Registered Alcohol and Drug Peer Support Specialist (RADPSS). Experience working with individuals affected by substance use disorders or mental health conditions.
