This role is ideal for an early-career safety professional ready to build broad experience in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, employee training, and corrective-action management while receiving direction and support from experienced EHS leadership. You will help turn safety requirements into practical, visible actions that protect employees, support our customers, and strengthen NELCO's safety culture across technically complex projects. What You Will Do Field and Operational Safety Conduct routine inspections of manufacturing facilities, construction projects, and field-service activities; document observations and communicate practical corrective actions. Participate in project pre-mobilization meetings and operational safety reviews. Assist project teams with Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs), Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and task-specific risk assessments. Track corrective actions, follow up with responsible parties, and escalate overdue or high-risk items appropriately. Industrial Hygiene and Compliance Support industrial hygiene monitoring and exposure assessments, including air sampling and other environmental evaluations, under established procedures and direction. Maintain, inspect, and coordinate calibration of industrial hygiene monitoring equipment. Research and help interpret OSHA, EPA, and applicable federal, state, and local EHS requirements. Prepare clear reports summarizing inspections, monitoring results, findings, and recommended next steps. Training, Systems, and Program Support Coordinate employee safety training, certifications, and compliance records; assist with training delivery and employee communications. Support Salus, Intelex, or similar EHS platforms by maintaining data, tracking actions, monitoring training status, and assisting users. Assist with incident investigations, documentation, root-cause analysis, and corrective-action follow-up. Administer the Safety Boot and Prescription Safety Glasses programs and coordinate purchasing and inventory of
