Child & Adolescent PHP Outpatient Psychiatric Technician Position Summary The Child & Adolescent Outpatient Psychiatric Technician, under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, performs selected patient care activities and participates in the multidisciplinary team. Works without direct supervision on specific areas of responsibility, including one-to-one interactions with patients, reports, and documentation of patient observations and behavior. Child & Adolescent PHP Outpatient Psychiatric Technician Position Requirements Refer to the policy: Mandatory Education Classes/Hours for all Patient Care area positions. Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required Ability to read and communicate in the English language. Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality. Must be self-directed and flexible. Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Required License and/or Certification Current Maryland CNA or other DHMH licensure preferred. American Heart Association CPR certification required. Experience One (1) year of behavioral health experience in any setting preferred One (1) year of experience with children and/or adolescents preferred. Child & Adolescent PHP Outpatient Psychiatric Technician Benefits At TidalHealth, full-time employees working at least 72 hours per pay period, part-time employees working at least 36 hours per pay period and part-time employees working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
