Responsibilities Provide direct patient care by assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and promoting independence. Monitor and document behavioral responses, and progress notes accurately in medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Implement behavior management plans using applied behavior analysis techniques and crisis intervention strategies to de-escalate situations effectively. Support clients during intake assessments, medication administration, and data collection to track behavioral trends and treatment effectiveness. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including medical staff, peer support specialist, therapist, clinical director and educators to develop individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs. Respond swiftly to crises or emergencies with appropriate crisis management techniques to ensure safety for clients and staff alike. Qualifications Prior experience working with dual diagnosis, mental health and addiction. Knowledge of crisis intervention, behavior management strategies, and crisis management protocols. Experience with applied behavior analysis (ABA), medical documentation, and maintaining detailed medical records. Strong communication skills for effective intake procedures, patient care documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA compliance to protect patient privacy and confidentiality. Compassionate attitude with a proactive approach to patient care and social work responsibilities. Qualifications and Skills Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Effective communication and collaboration with clinical teams Ability to monitor residents and respond appropriately to changes in condition Strong organizational and time management skills Commitment to supporting individuals in recovery environments Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required Minimum of one year of continuous recovery Previous experience working in behavioral health, recovery, or residential care settings preferred Work Environment and Physical Requirements Work is performed in a residential recovery environment located at 1430 Wright St., St. Louis, MO 63107. Applicants must be able to work in a variety of environmental settings and support residents in a structured recovery program. Schedule:
