Night Shift:

7p-7a (rotating every other weekend) Diamond Grove Center is an 85 bed, behavioral psychiatric hospital located in the beautiful neighborhood of Louisville, MS. Diamond Grove Center features individual units for children, adolescents, and offers inpatient care acute care, as well as residential treatment for adolescents. On average 1000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Diamond Grove Center Hospital. As a mental health specialist , you will facilitate the admission of psychiatric patients to Diamond Grove Center, by balancing the patient's comfort and ease within the organization's operating needs, with an ability to establish therapeutic rapport and verbally de-escalate patients in crisis are skills that will help make you successful in this role as you facilitate the orderly admissions of patients to the facility. As a key member of the Diamond Grove Center Team, you will be responsible for integration and coordination of patient care; ensuring that delivery of high-quality and cost-effective health care is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements.

Job Requirements:

1. Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions. 2. Behavioral Science field or equivalent of documented experience. 3. Hospital Aide/Treatment Assistant 4. Great communication and interpersonal skills. 5. High School Diploma/Equivalent Ged required. A.S.
