Job Description

The Rehabilitation Technician is an essential member of the rehabilitation team, providing clinical, administrative, and operational support to licensed therapists in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role helps ensure high-quality, patient-centered care by preparing treatment areas, maintaining equipment and supplies, coordinating patient scheduling, tracking insurance authorizations, and supporting daily department operations. The Rehabilitation Technician is committed to maintaining a safe, organized environment while participating in quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient care and outcomes.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
Completion of Rehabilitation Technician competency evaluation and ongoing annual competency requirements. Working knowledge of patient care procedures, rehabilitation equipment, mobility assistance techniques, infection control standards, and customer service principles. Experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred.
EDUCATION
High school graduate or GED preferred. Prefer at least two years of college education.
