Overview Join the Mindful Healing Counseling team as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) and play an important role in creating a safe, supportive, and structured environment for adolescents and adults participating in our PHP and IOP programs. In this role, you will work alongside therapists and the treatment team to support clients throughout programming, provide appropriate supervision and redirection, encourage engagement, and help maintain a positive therapeutic environment. Your compassion, reliability, and ability to respond calmly and proactively to client needs will contribute to the safety, stability, and overall success of our clients as they work toward their treatment goals. Responsibilities Provide consistent supervision and support to adolescent and adult clients throughout PHP/IOP programming. Help maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for clients, staff, and visitors. Monitor client behavior, interactions, and overall presentation and communicate concerns to the appropriate therapist or treatment team member. Provide appropriate behavioral redirection when clients are having difficulty following program expectations. Assist therapists with maintaining a safe and organized group environment. Support clients with transitions between groups, individual sessions, family sessions, breaks, and other program activities. Assist with client check-in and check-out procedures, including collection and return of personal belongings and phones according to program policy. Check client bags, backpacks, purses, and other personal belongings upon arrival in accordance with MHC safety procedures. Monitor the program environment for potential safety concerns and promptly report concerns to clinical staff or leadership. Support clients in following program expectations, schedules, and behavioral guidelines. Maintain appropriate confidentiality, professional boundaries, and ethical standards when interacting with clients and families. Complete required BHT documentation, logs, incident reports, or other program documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Participate in staff meetings, trainings, supervision, and other meetings as required. Work collaboratively with therapists, psychiatric providers, case management, and other members of the treatment team. Experience The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in behavioral health and/or higher levels of care, including PHP, IOP, RTC, or residential settings, with adolescent and/or adult populations. Experience supporting individuals with substance use concerns, co-occurring mental health needs, probation involvement, or court-related requirements is preferred but not required. Candidates should also demonstrate the ability to remain calm and professional when supporting clients experiencing emotional distress, behavioral challenges, or increased clinical needs. PM Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
