  • Full-time Never Adolescent Treatment Center is seeking an experienced Lead Behavioral Health Technician (Lead BHT) to join our adolescent inpatient substance abuse treatment team.
The ideal candidate has previous experience as a Behavioral Health Technician in a residential or inpatient treatment setting and is passionate about supporting adolescents on their recovery journey. Prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
Schedule:
Tuesday
  • Saturday or Sunday-Thursday, 4:00pm
  • 12:00am Responsibilities Lead and support Behavioral Health Technicians during assigned shifts.
Provide direct supervision and therapeutic support to adolescent clients. Ensure a safe, structured, and supportive treatment environment. Monitor client behavior and intervene appropriately during crises. Assist with admissions, discharges, room checks, and safety rounds. Facilitate shift communication and provide guidance to BHT staff. Document client observations and incidents accurately and timely. Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and state regulations. Serve as a positive role model while promoting teamwork and professionalism. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Previous experience as a Behavioral Health Technician in an inpatient, residential, or substance abuse treatment setting is required. Prior Lead BHT or supervisory experience is preferred. Experience working with adolescents is highly preferred. Strong communication, leadership, crisis intervention, and de-escalation skills. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as needed.
