Job Description

Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) is a person who works directly with a client carrying out the daily interventions designed by a Master's level clinician. The Behavioral Health Technician works in the home, school or community setting-depending on the hours prescribed and where the client needs behavioral support. BHT's collect data on behaviors that are identified in the client's individualized treatment plan while implementing interventions to assess whether the interventions in place are effective for desired behavioral change. Clients range in ages from as young as 2 years old to 21. Clients can have a wide range of mental health diagnoses from ADHD to Autism. Each client is unique requiring individualized treatment plan and treatment approaches.

Qualifications:

One of the following Minimum of a high school diploma or Bachelors degree in psychology, social work or human service related field 2 years experience providing behavioral health services

• Additional Information All Applicants must provide: Child Abuse, PA State Police and FBI clearances received within the last 90 days Mandated reporter training completion certificate. sealed transcripts or obtain copy of original degree as proof of degree's (highschool or college) Completion of 40 hours training in Applied Behavior Analysis (RBT certificate applies) before starting work with clients once hired. 6 hours of A&A training if no previous TSS/BHT experience Employee must be able to gain access to client's place of treatment whether it is the client's home, school or community. Employee must be able to read, write and speak fluent English E.O.E.

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 18.0 - 35.0 per week
