You'll keep clients safe and supported throughout the shift, help them stay on track with their treatment, and make sure the clinical team has what it needs to provide good care. What you'll do Supervise and monitor clients throughout the shift, including times when they are not in treatment groups. Run 12-Step education groups. Complete client intakes and verify insurance status. Escort clients to meals and accompany them to medical and social service appointments. Transport clients to appointments in an agency vehicle. Document client behaviors throughout the shift and communicate updates to the clinical team or program leadership. Respond to crisis and emergency situations following River's Bend policies and procedures. Take on other duties as assigned by the Facility Director. What you'll bring A high school diploma. At least six months of experience in the mental health or drug and alcohol field. A valid Pennsylvania driver's license and the ability to drive clients to appointments in an agency vehicle. Strong communication and de-escalation skills, with composure under pressure. A dependable, ethical, team-first, and client-focused approach. Schedule and requirements Full-time. Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Some travel required to accompany or transport clients. This is an active role. You'll be on your feet, climbing stairs, standing and sitting for extended periods, bending, kneeling, reaching, and carrying items. You must be able to passively restrain individuals in emergency situations. Before hire, all candidates must clear a Pennsylvania criminal history check, FBI clearance, and Child Abuse clearance.
