The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health is currently looking for a Mental Health Technician to join our team of dedicated professionals for weekend day shift (Friday, Saturday, Sunday OR Saturday, Sunday, Monday 7:00pm-7:30am). Who We Are The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health is a 156-bed private behavioral health system located on 13 acres in the Greenville, South Carolina Area. Specializing in psychiatric programs and substance abuse treatments such as detox and rehab, The Carolina Center serves Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, and areas throughout South Carolina and western North Carolina. Programs are available at various levels of care to accommodate the severity of every patient's condition: inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment.

We are currently seeking a Mental Health Technician who will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention and assistance with activities of daily living. The Mental Health Technician must demonstrate flexibility for reassignment to units providing care to varied populations including male and female, adolescents and adults as well as dually diagnosed adults.SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES
: To provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. To ensure the safety and well being of these patients and to support the maintenance of therapeutic milieu.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Conducts 15-minute rounds on patients per policy. Participate in restraint and seclusion of patients when required Supports facility service excellence standards. Give baths to patients and change patient's briefs, when required. Attends mandatory training Help maintain the therapeutic milieu on the unit, including, but not limited to, to facilitation of community groupsBenefit Highlights:
