55/Hourly Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs. Overview Works under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and the Director and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating the total nursing care of assigned patients. The RN may work in a variety of settings in the Emergency Services Complex and roles within Riverside Health System. The RN utilizes communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making to create a care plan for each patient based on physiological, psychosocial and cultural diversity. Responsible for supervising and delegating non-professional personnel working directly with him/her to ensure optimum patient care. Must demonstrate competence in dealing with age related needs of the specific patient populations served in the Emergency Services units/departments. Works under the direction of leadership and a multi-disciplinary team to provide a comprehensive range of services or clinical care associated with and in accordance with standards of excellence established by Riverside Health system and facility goals and strategic plans. What you will do Ability to delegate and prioritize tasks to facilitate quality patient care and ensure all patient care needs are met. Able to recognize and respond to emergency situations. Maintains a safe patient care environment by complying with RHS policies/procedures/regulatory requirements that support National Safety Patient Goals and Quality Initiatives. Recognizes and reports variances and provides resolutions. Demonstrate flexibility and sense of urgency to facilitate patient throughput throughout the facility. Responds to patient needs timely. Accurately completes all required clinical documentation consistently per RHS standards. Demonstrates assessment ability by applying standards of practice as it relates to the specialty or patient population served Behavioral Health ED, specialty unit). Recognizes and responds to variances of patient care/ condition and appropriately notifies physician and team, utilizing SBAR process when applicable. Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED, (Preferred) Experience 1 year related experience (Preferred) Licenses and Certifications CPR/BLS Certification
