Our new 120-bed facility features evidence-based treatment modalities and a multi-disciplinary team led by medical professionals. The 120 beds are split into five groups of 24 with enclosed outdoor spaces to promote healing. This is a full time or part time position with an opportunity to work on the day (7am - 7pm) or night (7pm - 7am) shift. Our full time and part time positions require employees to work every other weekend and there is a competitive shift differential for the evening, night, and weekend shifts. As a Behavioral Health Specialist, you will: Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment Provide routine patient care as required in a psychiatric environment Document and communicate unusual or erratic changes in client behaviors Assist with patient groups and activities Work with culturally and generationally diverse populations to meet their individual needs Provide trauma informed and age-specific care Maintain therapeutic boundaries and utilize crisis intervention techniques

Qualifications Requirements High School diploma or GED required; CNA preferred; Associates degree or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred College student who has obtained or are pursuing their degree in behavioral health, psychology, nursing or human services are preferred.
