Leads activities involving music, instruments, and sound. Assists patients with disabilities to learn to use public resources such as parks and public transportation, and integrate in the community. Full Job Description Job Description:
River House Wellness is seeking a Part Time Music Therapist to join our clinical department. We are looking for a creative self-starter who can build music-based programming to meet the psychological, emotional, communicative, and social needs of our drug and alcohol patient population.
Responsibilities:
Providing music therapy and psychoeducational services consistent with treatment plan goals Support safe and healthy leisure and recreation, and special events Provide group therapy and individual therapy when needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy required Experience with mental health, and trauma; MT-BC or eligible preferred.
