6/18/2026 We are currently looking for a Board Certified Music Therapist to join our amazing team and fill a full-time salaried or part-time position. This person will provide group and individual music therapy in elementary classrooms and in our clinic and should have strong skills working with children. Prospect Music Therapy is located in Arlington Heights, IL, in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, and provides music therapy in a private clinic space and for organizations throughout the community. • Provide therapy services to individuals in special education settings, adult day programs, and/ or memory care
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans
• Develop and implement individualized music therapy programs based on client needs and goals
• Utilize data collection methods to track progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, caregivers, and family members to ensure comprehensive care. Skills
• Strong knowledge of music therapy theories and practice
• Experience working in schools and with children and adolescents
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, caregivers, and healthcare and education professionals
