Qualifications and Experience:

Active National Certification as a Music Therapist required Experience working with school-aged children preferred Ability to complete district-specific background check and drug screening Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility and organization to manage a small rotating caseload

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver music therapy interventions to a caseload of approximately 7 students, with sessions scheduled every other week (3-4 students per day) Collaborate with educational staff and families to develop and implement individualized therapy goals Maintain accurate session notes and participate in student progress meetings as needed Adapt and tailor sessions to meet the unique needs of each child Travel between assigned schools, if necessary, based on final caseload assignment Working with children in schools brings the chance to foster creativity, joy, and growth, shaping positive outcomes in their academic and personal development.
