What we're looking for: Current, active national certification as a Music Therapist Experience working with children in educational or therapeutic settings Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students and staff Ability to plan, implement, and document individualized music therapy sessions Capacity to pass time-sensitive credentialing requirements, including fingerprinting/background check and drug screening In this role, your responsibilities will include: Providing direct music therapy services to approximately 3-4 students per visit (students are seen on an every-other-week schedule) Developing tailored goals and session plans for each student, using evidence-based music therapy interventions Maintaining accurate session documentation to monitor student progress Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and school personnel to support holistic student development Adhering to school district policies and maintaining a safe, positive learning environment This opening offers professional fulfillment in a contract setting, the ability to gain school-based experience, and the satisfaction of facilitating growth through creative expression.
