This itinerant, part-time contract role begins August 11, 2026, and runs through May 26, 2027, with an expected weekly commitment of 20 hourspotentially increasing to 30+ hours as the program expands. As a music therapist, youll design and deliver individual and group music therapy sessions, supporting students with diverse needs while adhering to their IEP goals. Collaborate with educational staff, consult with parents and professionals, and contribute to the development and evaluation of the music therapy program within the school setting.

Key Experience & Qualifications:

National certification as a music therapist required Proven knowledge of music therapy procedures, strategies, assessment protocols, and equipment Familiarity with interventions for students with autism and other developmental disabilities Ability to evaluate student progress and document services in compliance with IEPs Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Comfortable creating adaptive equipment and conducting staff development and consultative training Must complete required district fingerprinting (if not already on record) Attendance, punctuality, and compliance with district regulations is mandatory

Key Responsibilities:
