We're seeking a dedicated Music Therapist to provide meaningful services on a one-day-per-week contract during the 2026-2027 school year, from July 29, 2026, to May 27, 2027. You'll work with a small, manageable caseload—7 students in total, typically seeing 3-4 children each service day, every other week. Age groups may vary, allowing you to showcase your creativity and adaptability as you promote growth, emotional well-being, and self-expression through music.

Qualifications & Experience:

Active National Certification as a Music Therapist required Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings preferred Ability to pass district background check and drug screen (fingerprinting required) Strong communication and documentation skills Resourceful, compassionate, and team-oriented

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individual and small group music therapy sessions that address IEP goals and student needs Document progress and maintain confidential records Collaborate with educators, support staff, and caregivers to optimize outcomes Adapt interventions for diverse abilities, ensuring an inclusive approach Travel to assigned schools within the district as needed (number of campuses TBD)
