$20.50 - $33.00 Department Details This position is focused on Adult Palliative, Adult Oncology, and Pain Management with back up to the Children's Hospital Music Therapist. Job Summary Develops, administers, and coordinates music activities and programs. Serve as the patient's advocate when collaborating with the healthcare team to determine suitable therapeutic interventions. Implementing an individualized music therapy treatment plan that is consistent with any other developmental, rehabilitative, habilitative, medical, mental health, preventive, wellness care, or educational services being provided to the client. Promotes family-centered care and facilitates the strengthening of positive coping and resiliency skills within the healthcare setting. Provides ongoing assessment of interventions used. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy required. Certification as Music Therapist - Board Certified required from the Certification Board for Music Therapists. In North Dakota, licensure as a Music Therapist with the State Board of Integrative Health Care required.
